Yosemite and Sequioa

YOSEMITE is one of the world’s seven wonders. The dramatic view at the exit of the tunnel (an engineering feat within itself) says it all. This is one of the most photographed locations in the world as the “curtain rises” to the entire Yosemite Valley. Upon entering Yosemite Valley, the day will include a two hour narrated tour, options of guided ranger walks, viewing Yosemite Falls, Half Dome, El Capitan, The Meadows, Merced River, the walls of sheer granite and pine trees that somehow grow out of sheer rock, the Yosemite Visitor Center, the Native American Village, the historic Awahanee Hotel, built in the early 1900’s and is beyond elegant. Free shuttles transport you throughout the Park to keep the environment clean, and allow you to get on and off where you wish. The wildlife within the Park can cross your path at any time. Yosemite is nature at its purest! Whether you visit in late Spring when the waterfalls are cascading at their peaks, or the Fall as the leaves change to vibrant reds, glowing oranges, and brilliant yellows the “curtain always rises”!

SEQUOIA is noted for its “skyward to the heavens” 3000 year old Sequoias, the powerful Kings River, the General Grant Tree, and peaceful settings for casual hiking. Sequoias are the umbrellas of the forest. Sequoia is often regarded as Yosemite’s “little brother/sister”.
