San Joaquin Valley

The San Joaquin Valley is the heartland of agriculture for the United States. Literally, every type of vegetable, fruits, or nuts purchased in your neighborhood market is grown in the San Joaquin Valley. During the Spring, the trees are ablaze with blossoms of every color. Known as the “Blossom Trail”, it is one of the biggest attractions for visitors to this area. The San Joaquin Valley also boasts being at the base for two of the most popular national parks in the country; Sequoia with its towering trees and the roaring Kings River; Yosemite, with its magnificent granite formations such as El Capitan and Half Dome that both tower over 3000 feet; the rainbow of wild flowers are on display throughout the Valley Floor regardless of the season; the clear waters of the Merced River flows through the Valley Floor offering visitors great “tubing” and fishing; and when the snow melts from the High Country, the waterfalls of Yosemite, Bridalveil, and Vernal create their own symphonic masterpieces that are heard throughout the entire Valley Floor!
